Lockdown Protests: Is Corona Quarantine a Social Experiment?

  1. The quarantine is a cultural and political experiment: We’re seeing just how quickly the U.S. can be dissolved. #GovernmentOverreach

2. If Americans stand down, the U.S. openly becomes a surveillance state overnight. LA and NYC mayors are already pushing out ‘comfort’ videos telling residents to activate themselves as surveillance extensions of the state.

3. Google, often first in helping authoritarian rule boot stomp a population, has also risen to the occasion along with Apple. Here’s a look at how Google and Apple help nations crush its civilian population.

  • Google has a long history of teaming up with authoritarian overlords, including helping China persecute it’s 2 million Muslim Uighur population, including heavy surveillance and policing.
  • 2018: leaked memo showed Google is willing to engage in U.S. censorship to secure “safety and civility.” Part of this relied on premise of fighting “American fascism” which is in part why all protests are painted as “white nationalists.”
  • Google and Apple are very comfortable with surveillance tech. Last year, human rights activists blasted the Silicon Valley giants for pushing an app that helps Saudi men track women in their family. Think digital dog tags.
