Rooting Ourselves in the Sacred Feminine

The sharing of our collective outrage over attempts to control women is a cauldron, a sacred container for us to connect with the wisdom in all women, unique to the signature of our experience. My experience has been on the intersection of stories of beliefs (Iran’s morality police), the stories of women’s suffering (ideologies), stories of force (extremism), and the divinity within is (the story of remembering).

All that’s sacred under the #divinefeminine is set to fire by modern-day heresies we’ve crafted as “culture.” Whether abortion or covering your hair — the issue is ironically the same as other movements are trying to cancel women. Specially, that a wombman — is a threat. That a woman with the innate wisdom of life-giving power, is not trusted with the power to steward her own life or that which is under her wing.

In this season of the Virgo (earth priestess) leading into Libra (the season of balance symbolized by the equinox), holds meaning. The stereotype of the Virgo archetype is this: Nun. Prude. A woman closed off to her joy. We’re seeing what that myth looks like…
